At the heart of this set is a hand made mattress built on a 13.5 gauge open coil spring system. Firm yet responsive support. Medium firmness rating so it suits all types of sleepers, the perfect balance of contouring comfort and stability.
Deep quilted finish made from non allergenic materials, wrapped in a high quality Belgian damask cover that screams luxury. The fabric adds to the aesthetic and durability and comfort of the sleeping surface. Double sided design so it wears evenly over time and extends the life of the mattress. Hand made in the UK, traditional methods and attention to detail.
The luxurious mattress is supported by an ottoman end lift divan base made from FSC certified MDF wood. The base has an 18mm thick frame with an 8mm MFC veneered board, so it’s durable and sustainable. Four times more storage than a traditional divan bed, internal depth is 22cm so you can store bedding, seasonal items or treasured keepsakes.
Equipped with gas lift pistons, the bed base is smooth and easy to use. 600 newton pistons for 3ft, 4ft, 4ft6, 5ft and 6ft and 400 newton pistons for 2ft6. The Morpheus Coil Sprung Ottoman End Lift Bed Set is available in 6 standard sizes with custom sizes available on request.
