At comfybedss.co.uk, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our products. We're proud to offer a comprehensive manufacturer's guarantee on all items purchased through our website, ensuring that your investment is protected and you can shop with confidence.

What Our Guarantee Covers

Our Manufacturer’s Guarantee is designed to give you peace of mind when buying from Comfybedss. It covers faults in materials and workmanship that occur under normal domestic use. Examples include broken bed frames, faulty gas lift mechanisms in Ottoman beds, storage drawers that don’t function properly, or springs in your Mattress failing prematurely. If your product develops a fault due to poor workmanship or defective materials, we will repair or replace the item in line with the terms of the Guarantee.

This Guarantee ensures that you can buy with confidence, knowing that your investment is protected.

How Long The Guarantee Lasts

The length of our Guarantee depends on the product you have purchased. Most of our Beds and Mattresses come with at least a 12-month Guarantee as standard, while certain ranges are covered for several years. This period is clearly stated on your product page and order confirmation.

It’s important to note that Guarantees start from the date of delivery. For example, if your Bed is delivered on the 1st of January, the Guarantee begins on that day. If any issue arises within the Guarantee period that is proven to be a manufacturing fault, we will honour the terms without hesitation.

What’s Not Included

While our Guarantee offers strong protection, there are some exclusions. It does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear over time (e.g. gradual softening of Mattresses or fading of fabrics).
  • Accidental damage such as spills, stains, burns, or rips caused after delivery.
  • Misuse or neglect, including overloading drawers in a Divan base or failing to rotate/flip a Mattress as recommended.
  • Damage caused by incorrect assembly, self-modification, or using an unsuitable base or frame.
  • Comfort preferences – for example, if you simply find your Mattress too firm or soft.
  • Issues resulting from failure to maintain the product, such as not using a Mattress protector.

By setting out these exclusions clearly, we ensure that the Guarantee remains fair and focused on genuine faults.

How To Make A Claim

If you believe your product has developed a fault, the first step is to contact our Customer Service team. We recommend doing this as soon as possible after you notice the issue. Provide your Order Number, a copy of your Confirmation Email, and details of the fault. Our team may also request photos or videos to help us assess the problem quickly and accurately.

Once we’ve reviewed your claim, we’ll let you know the next steps. This may involve arranging an inspection, organising a repair, or processing a replacement.

What You’ll Need To Provide

To process a claim, we will require:

  • Your Order Number.
  • A copy of your original Confirmation Email.
  • Photographs (or a short video) clearly showing the fault or issue.
  • A brief description of how the problem occurred and when you first noticed it.

Without these details, we are unable to verify your claim or move it forward. Keeping your purchase confirmation safe is essential for protecting your Guarantee rights.

Next Steps After Your Claim

Once we’ve confirmed your Claim is valid, we’ll explain the options available. This could include:

  • A Repair – where our team or the manufacturer will fix the specific issue.
  • A Replacement – where we supply a new like-for-like product if a repair isn’t possible.
  • A Refund – which may be offered if neither a repair nor replacement can reasonably resolve the issue. Please note, in some cases a Part Refund may apply depending on the age of the product, as usage and natural wear will be taken into account.

We’ll guide you through each stage, keeping you informed by Email or Phone. Our aim is to resolve the matter as quickly and smoothly as possible so you can get back to enjoying your Bed or Mattress.

Tips To Keep Your Guarantee Valid

Looking after your Bed or Mattress not only extends its lifespan but also ensures your Guarantee remains valid. Here are some important care tips:

  • Use the correct base – make sure your Mattress is paired with a supportive and suitable frame.
  • Rotate or flip your Mattress (where recommended) to prevent uneven wear.
  • Use a Mattress protector to reduce stains, moisture, and dust build-up.
  • Avoid misuse – don’t overload storage drawers or sit/stand on the edges of a Mattress for long periods.
  • Keep your product in a dry, ventilated room to avoid moisture damage or mould.
  • Follow the care instructions provided with your product, as failure to do so may void your Guarantee.

By following these steps, you’ll get the very best from your purchase while keeping your Guarantee fully valid.
