At the heart of the mattress is a robust 1000 pocket spring assembly that work independently to mould to your body, a firm firmness rating to promote healthy sleep posture. Layers of luxury fillings provide a plush yet supportive surface, a hand tufted finish and 3 row hand side stitched border gives the mattress an artisanal look that’s timeless design.
Wrapped in quality Belgian damask fabric the mattress feels sumptuous and durable. The 4 way stretch fabric cover and double sided construction with turn handles ensures even wear, long lasting comfort and easy maintenance. Every detail from the hand stitching to the tufted accents is a testament to the craftsmanship that goes into each mattress, a product that is as beautiful as it is comfortable.
Underneath this magnificent mattress is an ottoman side lift divan base made from FSC certified MDF wood. With an 18mm thick frame and 8mm MFC veneered board the base is strong and sustainable. Engineered to provide 4 times more storage than a traditional divan bed it has an internal depth of 22cm that will hold bedding, seasonal items or personal treasures. The mechanism is powered by smooth and reliable gas lift pistons - 600N pistons for 3ft, 4ft, 4ft6, 5ft and 6ft and 400N pistons for 2ft6. So you can easily access the spacious storage compartment.
