The mattress is finished with a quality Belgian damask fabric cover, 3 row hand side stitch border and hand tufting, all of which show the attention to detail. A double sided mattress with turn handles for easy rotation to ensure even wear and extend the life of the mattress.
The base of this set is an ottoman end lift divan base made from FSC certified MDF wood. The base has a 18mm thick frame with an 8mm MFC veneered board lining, for a strong and sustainable base. Designed to offer 4 times more storage than a traditional divan bed base, it has an internal depth of 22cm for storage of bedding, seasonal items and personal belongings. The bed set has 600N gas lift pistons for 3ft, 4ft, 4ft6, 5ft and 6ft and 400N pistons for the 2ft6 size for smooth and easy access to the storage compartment.
