The mattress is paired with an ottoman side lift divan base made from FSC certified MDF wood. This sturdy base has an 18mm thick frame with an 8mm MFC veneered board lining for strength and sustainability. The base has 4 times more storage than a traditional divan bed with an internal depth of 22cm for bedding, seasonal clothing or personal treasures.

With smooth running gas lift pistons the base has 600N lift mechanisms for 3ft, 4ft, 4ft6, 5ft and 6ft and 400N pistons for the 2ft6. This powerful yet gentle lifting system makes accessing the storage area a doddle.
