Storage Description

No Storage

A plain divan base with no drawers. A good choice if you have storage elsewhere or the space around the bed is tight.

2 Drawers End 122.4 litres of storage

One drawer on each side, towards the foot end. They sit clear of bedside tables, so both drawers open with the room set up as normal.

2 × Standard drawer: 72 × 51.5 × 16.5 cm, 61.2 litres each
Total storage: 122.4 litres

2 Drawers Side 122.4 litres of storage

Two drawers along one side of the base. There are headboard fixings at both ends, so you can turn the bed round to put the drawers on whichever side suits your room.

2 × Standard drawer: 72 × 51.5 × 16.5 cm, 61.2 litres each
Total storage: 122.4 litres

4 Drawers 244.7 litres of storage

Two drawers on each side of the base, all the same size. You'll need floor space on both sides for them to open.

4 × Standard drawer: 72 × 51.5 × 16.5 cm, 61.2 litres each
Total storage: 244.7 litres

4 Drawers Continental 176.5 litres of storage

Two drawers on each side: a smaller one at the head end and a larger one towards the foot. The smaller drawers are designed to be used with bedside tables, so they open fully with your bedside tables in place.

The Essentials Guest Hotel Zip and Link 1000 Pocket Sprung Divan Bed Set is designed to provide dependable support and everyday comfort, starting with a strong and reliable base. Crafted from FSC certified white wood timber, the divan base is sturdy, responsibly sourced and built for long term durability. Reinforced corner joints add extra stability, helping your bed stay secure and supportive night after night.

If you need practical storage, this base offers over four drawer storage options to suit different room layouts. It’s ideal for neatly organising spare bedding, clothing or everyday essentials without taking up additional space. With over 30 fabric colour options available, you can easily match the bed to your existing décor. You can also choose between two length options, 6'3" (approximately 190cm) or 6'6" (approximately 200cm), giving you that extra bit of room if you prefer to stretch out comfortably.

The mattress features a 1000 pocket spring unit in its larger formation, with each spring working independently to respond to your body’s movement and weight. This creates a supportive medium firmness feel, offering a balanced level of comfort and structure while helping to keep your spine properly aligned.

Covered in luxurious Egyptian cotton and finished with a microquilted surface, the mattress has a smooth and comfortable feel from the moment you lie down. Inside, rebound poly cotton fillings add resilience and durability, helping the mattress maintain its shape and support over time. Turn handles make rotation easier, while built in air vents promote airflow and temperature regulation, keeping your sleep surface fresh and breathable.

Altogether, this bed set delivers that classic hotel inspired comfort with the strength and practicality needed for everyday use.

If you’d like to customise your bed further, we also offer optional upgrades including a sprung top base for added cushioning, a reinforced base for extra strength, custom sizing, and castor wheels for easier movement. The divan can also be supplied in a four piece design, which is especially helpful for tighter staircases or limited access. These add ons can be arranged once your order has been placed. Simply contact our team and we’ll be happy to tailor your bed to suit your needs.
