At the core of this set is a hand made mattress with 2000 pocket springs. Each spring works independently to mould to your body shape, relieving pressure points. Medium firm rating, the mattress is soft enough to be comfortable but firm enough to support all sleeping positions.

The mattress is wrapped in a luxurious Belgian damask cover that looks great and is durable and soft. Underneath the cover layers of clever fibre and anti allergenic fillings create a hygienic and calming sleep environment. The materials not only add comfort but also reduce allergens making the mattress perfect for sensitive sleepers. Double sided design means even wear and longer life, with the added bonus of being able to flip the mattress with built in turn handles.

The mattress is supported by an ottoman end lift divan base made from FSC certified MDF wood. The base has an 18mm thick frame with an 8mm MFC veneered board, for a solid and sustainable foundation. Designed to have four times more storage than a traditional divan bed, the base has an internal depth of 22cm so you can store bedding, seasonal items or personal treasures out of sight.

The bed set has 600N gas lift pistons for the 3ft, 4ft, 4ft 6, 5ft and 6ft sizes and 400N pistons for the 2ft 6 size. This clever mechanism allows for smooth and easy side lifting and access to the storage space.
