At its heart is a hand made mattress made in the UK with 3000 individual pocketed springs that work independently to give you tailored support and no motion transfer. Medium/firm support for perfect alignment and a great night’s sleep.
The mattress is covered in a high quality Belgian damask cover that adds to its durability and looks. With intelligent memory technology it adapts to your body shape, giving you personal support and pressure relief. Anti-allergenic fillings and intelligent fibres add a layer of hygiene and comfort, making this mattress perfect for allergy sufferers. Double sided means even wear over time, extends the life of the mattress and has turn handles for easy flipping and rotation.
Underneath the mattress is an ottoman end lift divan base. Made from FSC certified MDF wood the base has an 18mm thick frame with an 8mm MFC veneered board. Strong, sustainable and stylish. This base has four times more storage than a standard divan bed with an internal depth of 22cm to store bedding, seasonal items or other belongings.
The base has robust gas lift pistons for smooth and easy access to the storage compartment. For sizes 3ft, 4ft, 4ft6, 5ft and 6ft the base has 600N pistons and for 2ft6 the base has 400N pistons. These pistons give reliable and smooth operation so this bed set is as functional as it is beautiful.
