Storage Description

No Storage

A plain divan base with no drawers. A good choice if you have storage elsewhere or the space around the bed is tight.

2 Drawers Side 122.4 litres of storage

Two drawers along one side of the base. There are headboard fixings at both ends, so you can turn the bed round to put the drawers on whichever side suits your room.

2 × Standard drawer: 72 × 51.5 × 16.5 cm, 61.2 litres each
Total storage: 122.4 litres

2 Drawers End 122.4 litres of storage

One drawer on each side, towards the foot end. They sit clear of bedside tables, so both drawers open with the room set up as normal.

2 × Standard drawer: 72 × 51.5 × 16.5 cm, 61.2 litres each
Total storage: 122.4 litres

Large End Drawer 90.1 litres of storage

One wide drawer that opens from the foot of the bed. It takes bulky items like spare bedding, and suits a bed with walls or furniture along its sides.

1 × Large end drawer: 115 × 47.5 × 16.5 cm, 90.1 litres
Total storage: 90.1 litres

4 Drawers 244.7 litres of storage

Two drawers on each side of the base, all the same size. You'll need floor space on both sides for them to open.

4 × Standard drawer: 72 × 51.5 × 16.5 cm, 61.2 litres each
Total storage: 244.7 litres

4 Drawers Continental 176.5 litres of storage

Two drawers on each side: a smaller one at the head end and a larger one towards the foot. The smaller drawers are designed to be used with bedside tables, so they open fully with your bedside tables in place.

2 × Continental drawer: 33.5 × 49 × 16.5 cm, 27.1 litres each

The Westminster Chelsea 1500 Pocket Sprung Divan Bed Set is a luxury bed with mattress set that combines British craftsmanship, modern sleep technology and style. At its heart is a 1500 pocket spring system, medium/firm mattress firmness to suit all types of sleepers. Each spring moves independently so weight is distributed precisely and motion is transferred minimally for a disturbance free night’s sleep. Layered with memory foam for extra pressure relief this mattress cradles the body with support and keeps a hypoallergenic, fresher sleeping environment – perfect for those with allergies.

Covered in a sensation knitted fabric the mattress feels soft and luxurious. A 3 row hand side stitched border helps the mattress keep its shape and stability over time. Hand tufting locks the internal fillings in place for consistent performance and turn handles around the sides make rotating the mattress easy. Handmade in the UK the Westminster Chelsea is about quality and craftsmanship throughout.

Underneath this beautifully designed mattress is a robust divan base made from white wood timber with strong corner joints for stability. Available in 6 standard sizes (with custom sizes available) the base can be made to fit any bedroom. For extra practicality choose from 5 different drawer configurations to store extra linen, blankets or pillows and keep your sleep space clutter free.

With its pocket spring interior, knitted finish and storage options the Westminster Chelsea 1500 Pocket Sprung Divan Bed Set is a sleep solution that combines style, support and practicality. Memory foam cushioning, hypoallergenic materials and British hand finishing make it a classic choice for a disturbance free night’s sleep.
